Don Zimmerman is a 44-plus-year veteran of the floor covering industry, bringing an unmatched level of expertise to his role as the General Manager of Northwest Floors and Home. Over his extensive career, Don has built a deep reservoir of knowledge in technical services, product performance, claims evaluation, and complex installation troubleshooting.

Throughout his decades in the field, Zimmerman has shared his insights as a contributor to leading trade publications such as Wood Floor Business magazine, offering expert advice on floating floor behavior, and long-term floor care. In addition to writing technical guidance, he has dedicated much of his career to hands-on education - training thousands of installers, distributors, and sales reps across the industry while continuing to serve as a trusted certified flooring inspector.
